History of the National Knights

The History of the National Knights of the Ku Klux Klan dates back to Stone Mountain where the Klan got it's second birth around 1915. This is the very beginning of the National Knights, as well. James R. Venable  Sr., (the Ty Cobb of the Klan) founded the National Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. The National Knights held some of the largest Klan Rallies of modern times at the base of Stone Mountain which was owned by James Venable’s family. Imperial Wizard James Venable eventually sold the land to the state of Georgia for one million dollars. In 1993 James Venable gave the keys to the P.O. box and the reigns to now Imperial Wizard Ray Larsen. The National Knights are also now an incorporated church in Indiana.

The National Knights made a show of strength on March 26, 1960, by a coordinated series of cross-lightings. Newspapers in the South reported that more than 1000 fiery crosses were seen that day throughout Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Indiana, Tennessee and other states.

Today The Indiana based National Knights of the Ku Klux Klan is recognized as having the largest  membership, and has Klaverns, rallies and events all over the United States under the leadership of International Imperial Wizard, Ray Larsen.  Under His leadership, I.W. Ray Larsen, has taken the National Knights into 34 States and 24 different countries.

History of the Women in KKK and the Women's Klan in the CNKKK!

Women were first inducted into the Ku Klux Klan in 1923 during the second era of the Klan. These women formed rules and beliefs, which were to be followed by the members of the Women of the Ku Klux Klan. These beliefs were recorded in the document Kreed of Klanswomen. In this document the women focused on their heritage, the great and glorious America, eligibility and what they believed to be good for the family and good for America.

We feel that ladies that join with the National Knights have a greater opportunity for advancement than in other organizations.

We are an excellent team of individuals that work together as a very fine tuned machine. For all ladies that wish to join, please contact your nearest Realm or raylarseniw@sbcglobal.net
